Eared Lady Fern

Athyrium otophorum, the eared lady fern, is a species of fern in the family Athyriaceae, native to Japan and east Asia. Plants form a clump of arching triangular leaves. Old foliage should be trimmed to the ground in late winter. Plants benefit from a mulch of compost to help retain soil moisture. The eared lady fern thrives in most moist, partially-shaded spot with good drainage.
